The search built-in to the eXp Agent-to-Agent Tool allows you to quickly search for agents by to refer to (e.g. by location, name, and their eXp email address).
However, this is recommended only if you already know which agent you are going to refer to as that search does not include the full functionality of the internal eXp Agent Search accessible in your eXp Agent Portal (See below for more).
There are multiple ways for eXp agents to quickly find an eXp agent to refer their business to. These include:
- eXp Agent Search: Accessible through your eXp Agent Portal (Log in with your eXp credentials/OKTA & click on “Agent Search” in the left menu). This is an internal and expanded search tool for quickly finding eXp agents with expanded search functionality. Quickly search within X miles of a location, by the state(s) they are licensed in, Mentor and ICON status, and keyword (e.g. searches their bio, languages, and specializations).
- eXp Agent Directory: This is the public directory of eXp Realty agents in the US and Canada. Search by city to find agents servicing the area your client is looking in. (Here is a ‘help article’ on this).
- eXp Workplace: There are multiple groups dedicated to internal referrals within eXp Workplace. Please be sure to follow the group guidelines, as some have specific ground rules for engaging within their group.
Your growing Referral Network: In addition to the tens of thousands of eXp agents, your referral network will continue to grow with each new referral.
What if the agent I want to refer to does not appear in the search?
Currently, eXp commercial, non-U.S., and non-eXp agents are not included in the eXp Agent-to-Agent Referral Tool.
If the eXp Realty U.S. agent you are trying to refer to does not appear in the search, please try the following:
- Reach out to them to confirm how their information appears in their eXp profile.
- Be sure to also confirm with them that the “Exclude from eXperts Directory” option is NOT CHECKED in their eXpert Profile settings on eXp Enterprise (They will need to confirm by going to https://www.expenterprise.com/ > “My Business” and then “My eXpert Profile”).
- Make sure that you are searching their name as it appears in their eXp profile (e.g. do they use their full name or perhaps a nickname?).
- If known, search by their primary city.
